An ancient Midrash says:

The Holy One, blessed be He, said: "Since you have entered before Me for judgment on Rosh-Hashana - and freed, I regard you as newly born” ) Midrash Pesikta de-Rav Kahana(.

At the beginning of a new year, we wish to extend our blessings to all,

both as individuals and as a society, in the spirit of our sages' teachings – may we be renewed and reach new places this year.
